RONALD W. DWORKIN, M.D., to discuss
Artificial Happiness:
The Dark Side of the New Happy Class

One out of four Americans is on an antidepressant. Twenty percent of Americans use alternative medicine to relieve stress. Are we seeking a false happiness independent of the facts of our lives? If so, what are the consequences? Dr. Dworkin, practicing anesthesiologist and Hudson Institute senior fellow, will discuss these controversial topics with Father Richard John Neuhaus, one of the foremost authorities on religion in the contemporary world.

Artificial Happiness

Dr. Dworkin will sign copies of his new book, purchased at the Strand the day of the event, following a reading and discussion.
