Reception Honoring the Congressional Human Rights Caucus Task Force on International Religious FreedomFebruary 13, 2007, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. - Washington, D.C. Area
The Center for Religious Freedom of the Hudson Institute wishes to invite you to a reception to honor the work of the Congressional Human Rights Caucus Task Force on International Religious Freedom. This reception, which is also being co-sponsored by the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom and other non-governmental organizations* will highlight the Task Force's planned focus on Sudan in the 110th Congress. As the 10th anniversary of the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 draws near, it is important to ensure that the successes of the past decade are secured. The bipartisan Task Force on International Religious Freedom is dedicated to working toward this end. This reception will take place on Tuesday, March 13th from 5:00 – 7:00pm in 2203 Rayburn House Office Building. We hope you will join us at this reception to support the Task Force's work on international religious freedom, particularly Sudan. Speakers will include Congressmen and TIRF Co-Chairs Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) and Trent Franks (R-AZ) and CHRC Co-Chairs Tom Lantos (D-CA) and Frank R. Wolf (R-VA).
