Rt Rev Azad Marshall Bishop Azad Marshall's career in his native Pakistan and neighbouring countries of the Gulf and Iran spans over 28 years. He has been known for pioneering and running Church related institutions and programmes affecting the lives of the poor and underprivileged. He graduated from Romsey House Theological Training College, Cambridge, Gunranwala Theological Seminary and London School of Theology of Brunel University, London, UK. He was ordained Presbyter in 1988 in the Episcopal Church of Pakistan and in 1994 he was consecrated Bishop for the Persian Gulf. In 1996 he became an Associate Bishop of the Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East In 2004 the Anglican Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East asked him to be the Episcopal Vicar General and Bishop for the Diocese of Iran. Since taking up his new assignment in the Diocese of Iran he seeks to develop new ministries in the Diocese. As a Church leader he is knowledgeable of the needs of his region where Christians are in minority and are often marginalised and deprived of their rights.
