On December 21, Hudson Institute's Bradley Center for Philanthropy and Civic Renewal and Hudson Institute Senior Fellow Amy Kass held their third annual holiday luncheon discussion on gifts and society's less fortunate, for which this year Henri Barbusse's short story "The Eleventhserved as the basis. Kass, who is also senior lecturer in the humanities at the University of Chicago, led a lively exchange among thirty invited guests.
