Carol Adelman and Samantha Grayson of the Center for Global Prosperity were invited to attend an international conference on public-private partnerships in Lisbon, Portugal hosted by the Government of Portugal, the European Foundation Centre, and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The 2007 Index featured private giving examples from Europe and Canada and presented improved giving numbers and individual remittances data from other donor countries to the developing world, for the first time.
