Post-Christian Europe and Resurgent Islam

From May 30 to June 1 a notable group of scholars met at a castle in the Vienna Woods to discuss Post Christian Europe and The Rise of Islam. This conference, co-hosted by Hudson Institute, the Kairos Journal, and the Neuwaldegg Institute stimulated discussion between Christians, Jews, and secularists about how European countries should respond to the arrival of Islam and large Muslim communities. Former Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar, Father Richard Neuhaus, editor of First Things, and the Rt. Rev. Michael Nazir-Ali, presented. Hudson President Herbert London hosted on behalf of Hudson Institute. Other speakers included: Cardinal Pell,  Bishop Akinola, Melanie Phillips, and Marcello Pera, among others.

The Hudson Institute had ten representatives at the conference and papers were given by Zeyno Baran, Paul Marshall and Herb London.
