Archbishop Sleiman is an internationally recognized advocate for Iraq's persecuted Christian population. Hundreds of thousands of Iraq's Christians have fled the country since 2003 in the wake of extremist violence and persecution. Archbishop Sleiman gave a first-hand account of efforts to improve the situation among Iraq's Christians and foster interreligious cooperation.
