Hudson Institute's Center for Political-Military Analysis and the Partnership for a Secure America held an event on:

Assessing the Nuclear Security Summit

Wednesday, April 14, 2010, 9:00am-11:00am

On April 12 and 13, forty-four heads of state gathered at the 2010 Nuclear Security Summit in Washington to strengthen international efforts to secure global fissile materials, prevent nuclear terrorism, and bolster global cooperation on nonproliferation issues.

Hudson Institute and the Partnership for a Secure America held a panel that assessed the Summit's results and discuss important nuclear security questions. Did the Summit achieve its stated goals and are these adequate to the nuclear security challenges we face? How could the Summit results affect May's Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty Review Conference? Which countries could present the greatest problem toward realizing the Summit's objectives?
