These organizations have a significant impact on the communities they serve. Further, they create demand for goods and services beyond the rural areas they serve. A new report, The Economic Impact of Universal Telecommunications, from Hudson Institute provides a comprehensive look at the economic impact of rural telecommunications providers, including a state-by-state analysis of their economic impact.
