Research AssociateDescription: This candidate will work for the Director of the Center for Economics of the Internet and assist him with long- and short-term research. The candidate will keep track of government economic data, perform statistical analysis for research, and help to draft research. The candidate will also help manage the speaker’s series for the Center. The position offers a qualified candidate the opportunity to examine and explore a wide variety of economic policy areas related to the internet. The position offers substantial opportunities for independent research. Excellent research and writing skills are essential. Qualifications: Reports To: Director, Center for the Economics of the Internet, Hudson Institute Start Date: Negotiable Classification: Regular Full-time, Exempt with Benefits Compensation: base salary of $35K plus benefits Application Deadline: Open until filled Essential Responsibilities: Supply data for speeches, papers, and columns; Provide other short-and long-term research needs as requested. Preferred Education/Experience: Undergraduate degree with quantitative skills required; advanced degree in law or another field helpful. Demonstrated writing and research skills required.
