Thereza Austria

Thereza joined Hudson Institute in September 2012 as Director of Finance.  She is responsible for managing the overall finance, accounting, and budgeting functions, as well as overseeing governmental contracting, foundation grants, and compliance reporting. 

Previously, Thereza was an Audit Manager at Tate & Tryon, a CPA firm serving exclusively non-profit organizations.  During her tenure, she gained valuable experience dealing with complex non-profit issues, including accounting, governance, and best practices.

Thereza graduated cum laude from Pace University in 2002 with a BBA in Public Accounting.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is certified in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
