We seem to have a lot of NIMBYs in BC including people who are rallying against pipelines as we heard at the top of the hour but we’ve heard from others who are opposed to high rises, funeral homes and homeless shelters in their neck of the woods. What gives? What are the boundaries in this era of social licence and is the quest for it the thing that will bring balance back to public discussions and create success for resource projects? What makes a true NIMBY?
