Ambassador of Spain to the United States

After the Catalan independence referendum, ruled illegal by Spain's Constitutional Court, and the criticism directed at the Spanish government for its subsequent reaction, what is the way forward for unity and reconciliation? What consequences will these events have on Spain and the European Union?

On October 16, Hudson Institute hosted a conversation with S.E. Pedro Morenés, the ambassador of Spain to the United States. Ambassador Morenés joined Hudson Research Fellow Benjamin Haddad for a dialogue on these issues and more, followed by questions from the audience.
