Biography

Arthur Tellis is a director in the Office of the Principal Cyber Advisor within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy. His portfolio includes various issues germane to operations, intelligence, and partnerships. He is the lead author of the Department of Defense’s 2022 Cyber Posture Review and a contributor to its 2022 Cyber Strategy. Prior to joining the Department of Defense, he worked on the staff of the Senate Armed Services Committee, where he focused on issues related to cyber operations and cybersecurity. He graduated from the University of Chicago in 2016 with a major in economics and a minor in history.
