Hudson Institute Welcomes Caroline Anderegg as Communications Director

Hudson Institute announced today the addition of Caroline Anderegg as communications director. In this role, Anderegg will handle media relations and help execute the think tank's public affairs strategy, promoting Hudson's policy events, research, and fellows. She joins the growing public affairs team led by Vice President of Public Affairs Ann Marie Hauser:

"It's an exciting time at Hudson and we are thrilled Caroline is joining the team," Hauser said. "She brings hard-earned experience, keen judgment, and press savvy to Hudson, and I have no doubt that she will be key in helping us expand our reach and impact."

Most recently, Anderegg served as communications director and spokesperson for South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster's successful re-election campaign, where she developed a statewide communications and digital strategy for the governor and lieutenant governor. She worked at the Republican National Committee from 2015 to 2017 where she helped implement the party's press strategy for all presidential debates, Convention, and general election, and ultimately served as deputy press secretary for the east region. During this time she also served on the media operations team for the 58th Presidential Inauguration. She is a native of Louisville, Kentucky, and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Centre College.
