Ben Judah is a British journalist. He has traveled extensively in Russia, Central Asia and the Levant. He has written for a wide range of publications, including the New York Times, the Evening Standard and the Financial Times. His first book, Fragile Empire, was published by Yale University Press in 2013. His second, This is London, came out in 2016, from Picador. A series of his articles in POLITICO on the 2015 U.K. election campaign were “highly commended” in the Feature Writer of the Year category at the British Press Awards. Ben was chosen as one of Forbes magazine’s 30 under 30 in European media.
