WASHINGTON—Hudson President and CEO John P. Walters made the following statement regarding the release of the nonpartisan Congressional Commission on the Strategic Posture of the United States’ final report:
“The United States faces serious threats from adversaries in Moscow, Beijing, Tehran, and Pyongyang. The leaders of these rogue regimes seek to destroy the US-led international order. Nuclear modernization is crucial to the deterrence that keeps America and its allies secure. This report emphasizes the importance of prioritizing strategic deterrence and offers a roadmap for maintaining deterrence in a time of rising danger. I commend the twelve congressionally appointed commissioners for their excellent work and thank my Hudson colleagues Marshall Billingslea and Rebeccah Heinrichs for their service and important contributions on this commission.”
