Biography

Shmuel Bachar is a research fellow at the Institute for Policy and Strategy at the IDC Herzliya. Mr. Bachar holds a M.A. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is currently working on his PhD dissertation on Egyptian social history. In addition, he researches radical Islam, globalization and culture, Syrian and Iranian affairs and other issues relating to the contemporary Middle East.
